A statement released by Rwanda Revenue Authority on Thursday March 28th, 2017 states that people purchasing their livestock and crops at their market places will no longer pay taxes on both purchases.
However, vendors who have recognized stands at their respective markets are not waived from paying such taxes.
it is signicantly free for only people who take their farming production to their nearest markets but do not usually do a recognized business at the market.
they will therefore be allowed to sell their stuffs on wholesale to vendors without paying taxes.
