A month after being banned to jet in the country in November last year, Father Thomas Nahimana makes a fresh comeback as he is believed to arrive at Kigali International Airport on Monday evening as he bids to begin his presidential election campaign earlier.
The last time Nahimana came, stopped his journey in Kenya for reported reason that he was blocked from entering the country, which President Kagame slammed, saying he should have been free and alowed to come in the country ahead of Presidential elections contention scheduled in August 2017.
The free-candidate to be during the upcoming presidential election campaigns, is expected at the Airport at 7.20 pm, according to the press statement released by his political party, ‘Ishema ry’u Rwanda’.
The statement states that the party officials are happy to inform the Government of Rwanda, its people, friends of Rwanda and friends of Democracy that Party Chief and country’s president candidate Father Thomas Nahimana, accompanied by his team, are arriving in Kanombe at 7.20 pm in KLM flight number KL537, from Paris.
arriving in the country, Nahimana is expected to accept warm reception from friends and family as well as having few minutes of media briefing, before an open press conference scheduled to be held on Tuesday, where he will be presenting the party’s objectives towards Rwandan citizens.
