Nyanza District Vice Mayor in charge of Economy and Development, Patrick Kajyambere claims government plans to relocate about 600 locals from high risk zone settlements located from different sectors within annual budget 2017/2018.
While addressing the media, Vice Mayor Patrick Kajyambere says this plan will help to decentralize infrastructures such as roads, hospitals, school and clean water.
Vice Mayor says they are facing many challenges while implementing this plan such as poverty and low collaboration.

Nyanza District has so far relocated 446 while other 154 remaining locals are on waiting list.
Somewhere in the region of 259 locals were relocated within 2016/2017 annual budget.
