President Kagame to meet Kabila in a face to face discourse

President Paul Kagame is to meet his Congolese counterpart, His Excellence Joseph Kabila in face to face dialogue on this 12 August 2016 at Rubavu district to discuss both countries’ advancement.

Politic operator and Nothern Kivu governor, Julien Paluku said that president kabila spent the night at Goma to ease his rare trip to neighbouring country, Rwanda.

President Joseph Kabila of Democratic Republic of Congo participated in 27th African Union symposium hosted in Rwanda in last month and had chatted with his counterpart Paul kagame.

Julien Paluku did not reveal the exact mission of the meeting of neighbouring presidents but some sources said they are going to discuss the usage of gaz Methane in Kivu lake, even if no official avowal.


The recent bilateral meeting occurred in 2009

Joseph Kabila has recently travelled to Uganda on 4 August 2016 for a summit with President Yoweri Museveni, the meeting that is aimed to have security in the region.

It will be the second time since the two nations severed diplomatic ties that the Heads of State meet under bilateral arrangements, after the recent of 6 August 2009 at Goma.
