RDF allegedly shot dead a Congolese over invasion

Rwanda Defence forces (RDF) are suspected of shooting a youth congolese while trying to invade into Rwanda’s field. The incident happened yesterday 12 November 2016 when RDF military guards on Rwanda-DRC borders on ‘Petite Barriere’ shot unidentified man.

After shooting unidentified man accusing him to intrude Rwanda territory, many youth Congolese out of border nearly to protest; Radio Okapi reports.

Okapi reports goes on stating that the corpse taken to Hôpital Général de Goma (Nord-Kivu) and the reports approved by government official in Rubavu district.

The Rwanda Defence Forces (RDF) spokesperson, Lt Col René Ngendahimana told Bwiza.com that he was not aware of the incident and promise to follow up for more details.

In August 2016, two men worn DRC’s military attire shot by Rwandans military in different occasions when trying to illegally enter Rwanda territory.
