At his last stop of the day, RPF candidate Paul Kagame has shown no signs of fear as long as people are behind him to support him protect the country from any form of security disorders in the country.
He was campaigning on Wednesday for Day 13 rally in three districts namely Musanze in Northern Province as well as Rubavu and Nyabihu in Western Province where hundreds thousands of crowds turned up at each of the sites to salute their candidate ahead of the August 4th presidential elections.
Kagame started his rally of the day in Musanze, a site at which he was expected yesterday, and, as usual, his arrival was marked by warm welcome from residents turned up in big numbers in Busogo to support him while he was up to share his RPF manifesto, and telling the people what is even in the political party’s store due to be delivered in the next seven years once elected.
He apologetically said, “I was supposed to come yesterday but couldn’t make it. But here I am today. Thanks for coming once again. Your presence here and coming in big numbers is a sign of the pact between you, the people of Musanze, and RPF. Let’s continue together our development journey and, hopefully, together we will do more”
“Nobody and nothing can challenge us nor can we fail in whatever we do as long as we desperately join efforts and work hand in hand. I am sure there is no way anyone can discourage us since we are united,” he added.
Kagame shifted in Nyabihu District where he met over hundred thousand of people in Rambura sector where again thanked people their amazing physical turn up, but begged them to even bigger turn up in electing for him to approve they want him to continue the journey to rebuild the country towards development.
He said, “4th August is the beginning of a new phase of our continued development journey. We wish you wealth as we want to eradicate poverty as well as eliminating malnutrition. Let’s work together to achieve this with our sharp minds and physical ability.
He promised Nyabihu residents improved access to healthcareto children and women as well as food and clean water, which he considers “the foundation for everything” for the community’s welfare.
“We have achieved a lot together but a lot more is still to come. Our goal is development, security and prosperity for all.” He vowed.
He made his last stop of Day 13 campaign trail in Mudende, Rubavu District where residents sang a very inspirational and motivating song that they cannot fail in any war as long as they have Kagame.
In response, Kagame told residents that, “No war can threat me as long we are united. Such a big number of warriors like you are here, Nothing is impossible to a determined people like you. And with you, I cannot fear any war, either. Hopefully, together, we cannot fail any war of building the nation and protecting it”
