President Kagame claims Djibouti International Free Trade Zone will serve the region
Presdient Kagame has said Djibouti International Free Trade Zone is a very important achievement which will serve local and regionally as a whole.
Kagame at the invitation of President Ismail Oguelleh said Rwanda and Africa in general support the realization of the Djibouti International Free Trade Zone which will serve the region.
“We are behind you in the realisation of this project and I am sure it will serve us all, even as far south as Rwanda and beyond” Kagame said
“The inauguration of this very important facility that will not only serve Djibouti but also the wider region of our continent” he added
The inauguration was also attended by Presidents Omar al-Bashir of Sudan, Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed of Somalia, Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia, as well as AUC Chair, Mousa Faki Mahamat.
Djibouti International Free Trade Zone will span over a total 48 square kilometers after expansion,is one of the largest free trade zones in Africa and will benefit the whole continent.
President Kagame landed in Djibouti yesterday but one following invitation of Djibouti’s Ouguelleh.
