Gen Kale Kayihura to Spend 2 Years in Military custody
Intelligence sources who are part of investigations to Kayihura’s issues say there are too many issues included and investigations can even take for two years to be done.
The reliable sources told Spyreports the delay is due to the structures of reporting to the Chief of Staff Gen David Muhoozi and President Kaguta Museveni.
“This man Kayihura has a lot of cases to answer if we are to take our time and investigate all his cases, he can remain in custody for even two years,” said a source adding every case they finish, they submit the report to Chief of Defence Forces Gen David Muhoozi who briefs Security Minister and President.
As for now,President Museveni last weekend declined to meet a delegation of businessmen, political and religious leaders from Kisoro district where Gen Kale Kayihura was born.
Spyreport cop says the delegation was led by Rt Hon Dr Ruhakana Rugunda who requested to meet President Museveni to discuss Kayhura’s matter.
However, the request was put to the table of the President and the President told his PPS Molly Kamukama that he will respond to Rugunda’s request anytime.
Kayihura was in June picked from Lyantonde by army officers led by deputy chief of Defence forces Lt Gen Wilson Mbadi and flown to army headquarters in Mbuya, Kampala City.
