Report by National Commission for Public Servants of 2017 has shown malpractices at Rwanda Ministry of Health in job applications.

The report states that there are unethical practices like reward of marks,receiving application letters that are out of deadline, offering jobs to the unfit among others.

The report acquired by reads that Peace Mukankiko(Ruhango Hospital),Frank Furaha(Shyira Hospital) and Albert Kabanda’s application letters were after submission deadline.

The reports reads deadline was scheduled on February 24, 2017 but  application letters were submitted on April 17,2018.

It is also clear how Albert Twagirimana(Mibirizi Hospital),Theophile Ndamage(Nyanza Hospital),Sylivestre Musoni(Munini Hospital),Desire Sinayitutse(Gihundwe Hospital),Consolatrice Ibyimana(Kirehe Hospital) did not have full requirements to get jobs especially  marks allowing them to go for interview.

The report has pointed out how Valens Habiyaremye was denied job with 42/50 in written exam which later turned out to be 15/50.

Corporate Services Division Manager at the ministry, nValens Ndonkeye is responsible for these malpractices. However,in exclusive interview with Umuryango ,he said ” we are still waiting for the final report to correct what it will tell us to”

Head of  Human Resources Department at Minisante,Olivier Kanamugire said all these employees will be sacked in accordance with the law.
