President Kagame urged to deal with African migration saga


President of Zambia Paul Edgar Lungu Chagwa has urged counterpart Paul Kagame, the African Union chairman, to deal with the bad image created about Africa owing to the migration series of incidents.

President Lungu calls up on fight against negative perception the African continent continued to receive at the global level especially towards migration.

During the two-day state visit from Tuesday, President Edgar  Lungu  started with the visit to  Kigali Genocide Memorial Center,the Special Economic Zone in Nyandungu and later together with his delegation were welcomed by President Kagame in a  State Banquet at the Kigali Convention Centre.

“Rwandans and Zambians are now more connected than before. Our national carrier, RwandAir, has regular flights to Lusaka. We can take advantage of this opportunity, to increase visits and do more business,” said Kagame.

President Lungu is today Thursday expected to hold bilateral discussions with President Kagame at Urugwiro Village, during which various agreements will be signed.
