Rwandan president Paul Kagame, today 28th October 2016, visits Gabon and received by his counterpart Ali Bongo Ondimba. Kagame supposed to spend two days in Gabo after visiting Mozambique and Congo Brazaville consecutively.
Ondimba expresses his gratitude to receive his Rwandese counterpart whom he considers to be his friend and brother.
“With great pleasure, I receive my friend and brother Paul Kagame in two days work visit. The occasion is to strengthen our relations with Rwanda in matter of economic diversification, Technology, agriculture and environment,” President Ondimba wrote on his personal Twitter account.
The birateral relationship between Rwanda and Gabon has been well. In May 2015, President Ali Bongo Ondimba welcomed Rwanda’s request to reintegrate in the Economic Community of Central African States (CEEAC).
Rwanda and Gabon have signed an agreement to launch a one-area-network which expected to boost business between the two countries; the move follows the polarity of the 11 country strong Smart Africa initiative across the continent.
Ondimba was one of president among others who was in Rwanda during the recent World Economic Forum Africa took place in Kigali, Rwanda in May 2016.
