The information obtained by a Uganda based website,Chimpreports reveals Rwanda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs this week await to object the arrest of Rwandan national, Emmanuel Cyemayire,which took place in Mbarara Township.
Emmanuel Cyemayire, a local shop owner disappeared after being picked by suspected security officers on January 4 at around 8:00pm.
Cyemayire’s wife, Yvonne Mukakalisa told Chimpreports her husband was taken by armed men who were driving a double cabin truck.
Sources say Rwanda intends to ask Uganda for more details on the issue as Cyemayire is found nowhere to the police station.
Governement of Uganda is of the view that all Rwandans arrested and sent to court of laws are suspect of being involved in both espionage and terrorism acts in Uganda,which is a threat to national security.
It is after Uganda’s Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Kutesa this past Friday held jovial mood talks with President Paul Kagame at Kigfali over the tension between Uganda and Rwanda.
