After this game, Mugabo Jimmy, the Head Coach of Thousand Hills RFC said that this victory results from good preparations and self-determination. “We did enough training to prepare this game. After every training day, I always told my players that we can win if everyone is determined to the victory. Before they start this game, I reminded them that it is the first game for us to hope being the champion, as it is our target in this Mindsky Rugby National League 2018, which we start with good results,” he talked to

On the side of Sharks, Ngizwenayo Barnabe, the captain says that they haven’t expected to lose. “We have trained and focused on this game during the last two weeks. We had to win, but we lose. Really my team has good and many professional players and as it is not the last game for this season, we can win the cup, if we don’t lose any of all the next games,” Said Ngizwenayo.

Instead of this game, immediately after the last whistle, Remera Buffalos faced Lions De Fer (54-07) at the same ground.

Remera Buffalos is the champion of Mindsky National Leauge 2017, and Thousand Hill is the second.
